Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED. Both sides have declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.

The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June in Switzerland.

We would like to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in this mediation effort, the great leadership of State of Qatar, for their support in reaching this agreement. I would also especially thank the visionary leadership of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Türkiye for their immense contributions in this regard.

With the agreement now in place, mediators will facilitate a series of meetings this week. These pre-implementation discussions will lay the foundation for the technical talks and the official signing ceremony.

Amid ongoing intense mediation efforts by Pakistan, we are fully aware of incessant misinformation campaign being waged by those who want to sabotage the peace deal. Setting aside the noise, we can confirm that a final, agreed upon text of the peace deal has been reached and Pakistan is now working closely with both sides to finalize the next steps. Peace has never been this close as it is now.

مورخہ 16 اپریل کو پی ایم ایس ایسوسی ایشن پنجاب کی ایگزیکٹو کمیٹی کا اہم اجلاس دفترِ ایسوسی ایشن میں منعقد ہوا، جس میں بیس کے قریب سینئر پی ایم ایس افسران نے شرکت کی۔ اجلاس کی صدارت صدر پی ایم ایس ایسوسی ایشن جناب قمر قیصرانی نے کی۔ اجلاس میں صوبہ بھر کے پی ایم ایس افسران کو درپیش مسائل، بالخصوص ترقیوں (Promotions) میں تاخیر اور انتظامی ناانصافیوں پر تفصیلی غور کیا گیا۔
صدرِ اجلاس نے شرکاء کو آگاہ کہ گزشتہ ڈیڑھ سال سے گریڈ اٹھارہ سے گریڈ انیس اور گریڈ سترہ سے گریڈ اٹھارہ کے پروموشن بورڈز منعقد نہ ہونے کے باعث افسران میں شدید بے چینی پائی جاتی ہے، جس کے پیشِ نظر آئندہ لائحہ عمل پر سنجیدگی سے غور کیا گیا۔
ایگزیکٹو کمیٹی کا اجلاس اس متفقہ اعلامیے کے ساتھ اختتام پذیر ہوا۔
• اجلاس میں اس امر پر شدید تشویش کا اظہار کیا گیا کہ ڈیڑھ سال گزرنے کے باوجود پی ایم ایس افسران کے مذکورہ پروموشن بورڈز منعقد نہیں کیے گئے۔
• شرکاء نے کہا کہ موجودہ چیف سیکرٹری کی جانب سے 1200 سے زائد پی ایم ایس افسران کی نمائندہ تنظیم کو مسلسل نظر انداز کیا جا رہا ہے۔
• اہم انتظامی عہدوں پر جونیئر پی اے ایس افسران کی تعیناتی جبکہ سینئر پی ایم ایس افسران کو او ایس ڈی بنانے یا غیر اہم عہدوں پر لگانے پر شدید تحفظات کا اظہار کیا گیا۔
• وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب کے وژن آف گڈ گورننس کو ان پالیسیوں کے باعث نقصان پہنچنے کی نشاندہی کی گئی۔
• گریڈ 20 کی آسامیوں پر گریڈ 18 کے افسران اور گریڈ 21 کی آسامی پر گریڈ 22 کے افسران کی تعیناتی کو انتظامی بے ضابطگی قرار دیا گیا۔
• چند سینئر افسران کے مبینہ گٹھ جوڑ اور زائد از ٹینیور اہم عہدوں پر تعیناتیوں پر بھی سخت اعتراض اٹھایا گیا اور فوری تبدیلی کا مطالبہ کیا گیا۔
• اجلاس میں فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ اگر چند دنوں میں مطالبات تسلیم نہ کیے گئے تو گڈ گورننس کو متاثر کرنے والی پالیسیوں اور کرداروں کو عوام کے سامنے لایا جائے گا۔
• قانون کے دائرے میں رہتے ہوئے سخت احتجاج کے اگلے مرحلے کا اعلان کرنے پر بھی غور کیا گیا۔
• حکومت پنجاب کی کفایت شعاری پالیسی کے پیش نظر جنرل باڈی اجلاس کو وقتی طور پر ملتوی کرنے کی تجویز متفقہ طور پر منظور کی گئی۔
متفقہ مطالبات:
• پی ایم ایس افسران کے پروموشن بورڈز کا فوری انعقاد۔
• پوسٹنگز میں امتیازی سلوک کا خاتمہ اور میرٹ کی بالادستی۔
• ذاتی مفادات کے لیے اور بجٹ میں منظور شُدہ سیٹوں کی خلاف ورزی کرتے ہوئے سیٹوں کی اپ گریڈیشن اور ڈاؤن گریڈیشن کی پالیسی کا فوری خاتمہ۔
• سول سرونٹس ایکٹ کے سیکشن 9 کےغلط استعمال کے ذریعے (کیونکہ سول سرونٹ ایکٹ وفاقی افسران پر لاگو ہی نہیں ہو سکتا ) جونیئر پی اے ایس افسران کی اعلیٰ گریڈ میں تعیناتیوں کا سدباب۔
• ہاؤس الاٹمنٹ اور سروس لون کی پالیسیوں میں پی ایم ایس افسران کے ساتھ برابری کا سلوک۔
اجلاس کے اختتام پر اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا گیا کہ پی ایم ایس افسران اپنے جائز حقوق کے حصول اور ایک منصفانہ، شفاف اور مؤثر نظامِ حکمرانی کے قیام کے لیے ہر آئینی و قانونی راستہ اختیار کریں گے۔

With the greatest humility, I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
I warmly welcome the sagacious gesture and extend deepest gratitude to the leadership of both the countries and invite their delegations to Islamabad on Friday, 10th April 2026, to further negotiate for a conclusive agreement to settle all disputes.
Both parties have displayed remarkable wisdom and understanding and have remained constructively engaged in furthering the cause of peace and stability. We earnestly hope, that the ‘Islamabad Talks’ succeed in achieving sustainable peace and wish to share more good news in coming days!

Diplomatic efforts for peaceful settlement of the ongoing war in the Middle East are progressing steadily, strongly and powerfully with the potential to lead to substantive results in near future. To allow diplomacy to run its course, I earnestly request President Trump to extend the deadline for two weeks. Pakistan, in all sincerity, requests the Iranian brothers to open Strait of Hormuz for a corresponding period of two weeks as a goodwill gesture. We also urge all warring parties to observe a ceasefire everywhere for two weeks to allow diplomacy to achieve conclusive termination of war, in the interest of long-term peace and stability in the region.
