@ryanmouquegolf How about ball speed numbers? Hands need to be delivered slight ahead of ball and strike lower on face so ball speed stays high. couple that with good spin and minimal turf interaction? I would be curious to see where optimal ball speed is as well if you have. High face strike ☠️
In a few years, we’re going to see a violent cultural shift in younger people back to more “traditional” values.
People in their 20s are sick of victim complex “right to be offended” practices determining socially acceptable vocabulary. It’s become obvious that more often than not, the “harmful language” card is used as a power trip instead of raising a real concern.
The healthy (and necessary) practice of removing racism and misogyny from conversation was perverted into a “whoever is the most offended determines the code of conduct.” It sucks. No one wants to walk on egg shells, and no one does that in private.
The normalization of hookup culture and dating apps has fried people’s brains and left a lot of younger women broken because commitment is viewed as a weakness instead of a strength. After the sexual revolution, we misconstrued “can” for “should.” Casual sex has been great for men, but it compromised women. Is anyone happy that they've slept with 30, 40, or 50 people? Casual sex was never "casual." It can't be. Even the normalization of the term “settled down” implies that a relationship is an inferior position which just isn’t true.
And the gamification of dating, via Hinge and Tinder, has been horrible. Just swiping right to anyone who meets the threshold for "maybe I would sleep with them." Meeting people in person invited mystery, intrigue, and excitement. Dating apps turned dates into another line on your to-do list.
Careers have become more and more polarized. Two ideas, “fuck the system and do what you love” or “grind away and make your career your life” are harmful for most people. Your job actually does matter, but it’s not the only thing that matters. We have demonized the idea that you can actually have a high-paying job that supports your lifestyle. Period.
We thought we were too intelligent for religion, but what did we replace it with? MDMA and mushroom trips to feel something “real?” How mid is that. Atheism isn’t a sign of higher intelligence as much as it is ignorance and a suppressed fear of mortality cleverly cloaked as high IQ.
The decline in western religion is shocking when looking at the Middle East right now. The western world, for the most part, has no concept of sacrifice. Comfort, efficiency, and individuality replaced discipline and the belief in something larger than oneself.
Meanwhile, Muslims and Jews are quite literally willing to die over a patch of land that they have considered holy for thousands of years. Can you imagine an American or European feeling strongly enough about something to die for it?
No, in the west, we are so considered with "weaponized language" that a cartoon of Hamas in the Washington Post was removed, not for being too violent or gory, but for perpetuating racial stereotypes.
In our 70 years of peace and prosperity since WW2, and we have lost the plot on everything, and people are sick of it. Much of the social progress that we've seen hasn't been progress. Weaponized victim complexes, hollow beliefs, broken souls, and a complete lack of conviction in anything certainly isn't progress. It's a shell of the human condition.
And younger people are starting to realize that some traditions weren't meant to hinder us. They saved us from ourselves.
@JeffKerrCBS @PenzaminFrankln When is everyone going to realize that a healthy Cooper Rush is more efficient than an injury prone Dak Prescott… just wait until Dak comes back and starts losing games
@PenzaminFrankln But why tomato soup from Campbells? Big corporation like that? I am sure the industrial canned soup supply chain is absolutely riddled with pollution. And what are they angry with all oil? Like essential oil pyramid schemes? Gas? So many holes to this “activism”
More bad news from the opening round of the LIV golf event. Rogue white beetle with license plate reading “PGA Hitman” speeding thru course taking out another Team stinger member Brandon Grace. Not enough fund for security we are hearing
