@moji55a@GenePark Okay I see where wires are getting crossed (I fucking hate these games) I forget they called the remake “part 1”. I refer to part 1 when talking about the Joel story and part 2 for the Ellie story. Just another reason not to make 6 versions of Last of Us.
@ExoTechism@BookBearodactyl This is one of the best things Remake does imo. After certain points in OG VII characters are just set dressing (in Yuffie and Vincent’s case they aren’t anything but) and it just becomes the Cloud and Tifa show.
@LiquidCups@ActualAero@LickyOnMyBlick I’ll never understand sequel denial, the Whispers make ZERO SENSE if they are not actively trying to maintain events from the previous game.
@xMBGx As someone who bought a PS5 for FF16 and Stellar Blade, hard pass on both. Intergalactic looks great but that’ll be PS5 and I can live without Horizon 3, God of War 3 and Last of Us 2 Remake Remastered.
@JezCorden Stop saving shitty studios. Bungie was clearly a disaster before Sony got involved, Compulsion has never made a profitable game, Double Fine makes multiplayer games about pottery and Ninja Theory is a tech demo company.
@Welfare_JBP Phil gave them space to do that and these teams dropped a giant shit on Xboxs bottom line. It’s easy to run a business when your teams take an old wad of gum and a piece of tape smash them together and sell 10m Pokémon games for 70 bucks a pop.
@Raven0178@bogorad222 100 employees in Montreal working for 7 years. They did famously change directions sometime in production due to Sweet Baby Incs involvement (not getting into culture war shit just saying there was at least some reboot that took place).
@Victor_Lucas It isn’t “clearly” anything but a failure. Compulsion has never made a financially successful game in their entire 17 year run (3 games). Unless they can sell those Canadian game awards for a couple hundred million dollars it’s time to pack it up. It’s their job to sell games.
@TheIshikawaRin The studio has been around for 17 years and made 3 games all of which were financial disasters. Microsoft is a blight on the industry but be real.
