PhD student Paul Bieber #NBDGroup led the development of our high speed cryo-microscopy work and its application to understanding the role of interfaces (e.g.air-water) for heterogeneous ice nucleation (focus on P. syringae) is now out in @ScienceAdvances https://t.co/ZXc8aUHOL4

Reading up on "The Impact of Parametezing Microphysical Processes in the Jet and Vortex Phase on Contrail" by Bier and Burkhardt (2022) while waiting for my flight from Heathrow to Johannesburg. Find out more how aircraft impact climate @DLR_SpaceAgency
@elonmusk The cleaning of the oven from dripping cheese is offset by the time saved in making two pizzas at once... these genuises should maybe just use different shapes.
@PostFinance We are living in Vancouver, Canada, and have been trying to contact you. We get told that a representative will phone us back and never do and we also then get no reply from emails. Please make contact with my wife Nadine Borduas-Dedekind.
@PostFinance we are extremely frustrated in dealing with you. My wife closed her account with postfinance and are still billed after the fact. Post finance also won't reply to our calls or emails. The service you provide is unacceptable. #banking
@jacquirickard Maybe because of ample moisture at around -15 degC causing fast growth of ice particles via depositional growth at these isotherms. These larger ice particles can then collect smaller ice particles at a faster rate on their way down resulting in large clumps of ice.
