If we'd copied French/Swiss during the 1960s through the 2000s + went beyond, we likely wouldn't be going through energy issues now, & be working on more infra.

@Leo_Puglisi6 what's your take on the dispute the @RTBUnion have been in with the transport minister for the past 3 or so years? Specifically related to the Newcastle bus service running with Opal disabled and trains operating with a speed cap of 60 on some days, w/ other edits.

@RustyCommuter @TrainsInfo I believe that that's something the @RTBUnion are trying to get transit users to do, however the options they have at a stations entrance are - I believe - slightly more limited than those on a bus.

@snepsnepsnep @NanoRaptor Could also standardise a magsafe-like pin system similar to this meh thing I found on aliexpress, which might make it simpler.
Would probably make the ground pin stick further out, though.
At best might standardise magnetically connected chargers, though.
