Every leap in human progress needed two things:
intelligence to imagine what’s possible,
and energy to make it real.
AI is making intelligence more abundant.
But data centres already use about 415 TWh of electricity a year. By 2030, that could more than double.
Energy is becoming the defining final frontier of the AI age.
Today, we’re officially announcing Energy AI Labs to build energy superintelligence.
Compute has CUDA.
Knowledge has LLMs.
Energy still lacks an intelligence layer.
We’re here to help build one and to advance the technologies that will power intelligence at scale.
Our work spans two frontiers that belong together:
>> AI for Energy:
intelligence that helps batteries, grids, vehicles, storage and buildings sense, predict and act as part of a smarter system.
Applied at scale, AI could unlock up to 175 GW of capacity on existing transmission lines and help save around 300 TWh of electricity a year.
>> Energy for AI:
the materials, methods, power systems and controls needed to keep AI running reliably as it grows.
The scale is changing fast:
NVIDIA is targeting 1 MW AI racks from 2027. And grid constraints could delay about one in five planned data-centre projects.
Few years ago, we started with battery intelligence by building EV DOCTOR™ for batteries, one of the most complex, consequential nodes in the energy system.
Global EV battery deployment is expected to rise from about 1.2 TWh in 2025 to almost 3 TWh by 2030.
India is at optimal point, where these frontiers meet at extraordinary scale: a record 271 GW peak demand, with 300 GW on the horizon.
We’re building this from India for the world, with a simple ambition: that no dream, idea or human possibility is held back by energy.
Not for hype cycles, but for a real impact in our lives.
The best part, this is JUST day one.

Breath is the least explored signal in the human body.
I learned this while working on RespiCOz.
Respiratory rate and EtCO2 are just beginning.
Not an end.
Last night, an investor reached out to me.
We've known each other for a few years.
Back then, I had pitched RespiCOz to him.
For some reasons, he decided not to invest.
Yesterday, after hearing about what we're building at Zapien Life, we had a conversation.
In the end, he smiled and asked:
"Kitna paisa dalna hai?" 😄
For the first time, I felt like the investor was pitching me instead of the other way around.
Funny how conviction, progress, and timing can change a conversation.
Hello Doctors & Clinicians,
We're building @ZapienLife to better understand the human body through breathing.
If you're passionate about physiology, innovation, and building something from the ground up, we're looking for a Chief Medical Officer & Co-founder.
Let's build it together.
Feel free to DM me.
In 8th grade, I blew the fuse at home while experimenting with a circuit board.
That spark never really left me.
It pulled me into biomedical engineering, where I built ECGs, nebulizers, ventilators, and even a COVID diagnostic device during the pandemic.
But something kept bothering me:
They were academic projects.
They would never reach a clinician.
Never enter a hospital.
Never save a life.
I wanted to build something real.
So my friends and I spent the next few years building RespiCOz, a capnography device designed to make critical respiratory monitoring more accessible.
Today, RespiCOz is used by 250+ clinicians across 100+ hospitals in 3+ countries.
But this is not the destination.
It is proof that a small team can take an idea from a circuit board to hospital beds across borders.
Now, I am building Zapien (@ZapienLife) to create something much bigger: a global healthcare technology company developing products clinicians can actually use and patients can genuinely benefit from.
But billion-dollar companies are not built alone.
Jobs had Wozniak.
Apple had Mike Markkula.
I am looking to meet exceptional, high-agency people who want to build from zero:
A co-founder. Clinicians. Investors.
People who believe the next iconic healthcare company can be built from here.
Let’s talk, DMs open..!
