As the World Cup begins, a Palestinian child who lost both legs in Gaza still runs after his football between tents, refusing to let Israel take away his dream.

Yet amid genocide, displacement, and unimaginable loss, this child continues to chase the game he loves, carrying a dream Israel failed to destroy.

According to UNRWA and humanitarian organizations, Gaza is home to the largest cohort of child amputees in modern history, thousands of children forced to rebuild their lives after losing limbs, homes, and futures.

The late war criminal Rafael Eitan, who was eventually eliminated in 2004 by the pro-Palestinian antisemitic KHamas Mediterranean Sea, said in 1987: "Anyone who says that blacks are being persecuted in South Africa is lying. The blacks there want to take over the white minority just as the Arabs here want to take over us. And we, like the white minority... need to act so that they don't take over us... I was in a diamond mine there and I witnessed the excellent conditions the black workers have there. So there's a separate lift for whites and blacks. So what? That's how they want it to be."

During the same event, at Tel Aviv University, "Raful" also said the army should send APCs to deal with riots in the West Bank, and referred to the idea of ethnic cleansing: "Kahane talks about expelling Arabs, but he didn't expel a single Arab. Those who expelled Arabs are precisely those who are considered today to be in the Alignment camp. They expelled hundreds of thousands, without hesitation, including in the Six-Day War from the Golan Heights. And then no one said anything."

Baby Khaled Ahmed Al-Zinati was killed last night, along with his entire family, in an Israeli airstrike that targeted his family's tent in Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

This marks the second time the child Khaled was killed to the same family; his older brother Khaled was murdered in December 2023. Baby Khaled was named after his slain brother, only to face the same brutality of the Israeli occupation.
