@tombos21 Gambler 2 has a lower expected number of games played before either busing completely or fulfilling the withdrawal criteria. So they are effectively paying the house 3% cut less often on average

@RobKuhn_ @VegasHayls Except there is still incomplete information where it matters most, before the hand gets to showdown. Would you have it that at showdown the software determines the winner and no one knows what the other players had?

@UriPelegPoker Anyway, my exploit is to assume someone is less likely to have a draw when they call very quickly seemingly without thinking about raising, then getting shown said draw when it comes in.

@UriPelegPoker The one thing I don't understand about most poker players is why people play so quickly. Even if they aren't very good at it, even the worst players at least make an effort to have a poker face and not give away physical tells, but that doesn't apply at all to timing tells.

@GazzyB1233 Some of those things do make things worse though. A straddle is just playing higher stakes with 3 blinds (bad) and shallower stacks. 72o game is boring since the novelty wears off and preflop gets less interesting.

@APAP74902546 @GazzyB1233 That's interesting because most likely the opposite is true in that they have studied standard NLH a lot and probably played loads online. I guess those random things mean people have to think for themself and therefore scope for larger mistakes from recs though

Ofc he might have factored in Martin occasionally showing up with a bluff himself but he knows he needs him to fold 8x

@KevinRobMartin @akaNemsko But if you have 3 blinds you aren't adding a straddle, you are adding an extra small blind that is incentivised to play super tight due to having worst position, two players left to act pre and no significant money in the pot
