We’ve all just kind of become numb to it, but outsourcing is actually wild. It’s basically insane that we tolerate it. Borders actually are real. They constrain us physically and legally. They bind us in times of war. They aren’t, like, fake, imaginary nonsense, maaan. They are in fact extremely important.

The idea that you could operate businesses across borders in this way is basically ridiculous and exposes all kinds of novel horrors.
