I can hardly think of a moment in my life when the phrase ‘Shabbat Shalom’ resonated so deeply. Just six long days ago, the peace of Shabbat and Yomtov was desecrated in a most horrific way. And we have spent every waking moment since then, grieving alongside our families and friends in Israel, sharing in their horror and pain.
As we now enter into Shabbat, we pray with every fibre of our being for a genuine and lasting peace. May all who are mourning gain strength and comfort from the millions around the world who are with them in their time of deep grief. May the injured have a speedy recovery and may the many hostages be returned home safely to their families.

WHERE IS THE INTERNATIONAL MEDIA?

According to the Palestinians living in Jenin, the Palestinian Authority has “stormed” the city to make arrests & disrupt Islamic Jihad’s ability to stage attacks.

Israel did the same thing last month and every camera in the region was there with every reporter. So where are they all now?

Why is this story not being reported?

The cries of the man in the last video (bottom right) are not being heard, not being broadcast so the world can condemn the “aggression.”

Why does the world care only when Israel is involved?

Why do they ignore when Palestinians are fighting Palestinians as is the case most of the time?

Where is @RashidaTlaib, @Ilhan, @RepCori, @AOC & @RepJayapal? Last month they defended Islamic Jihad’s right to resist - do they no longer believe they have the right now that Mahmoud Abbas is in charge of the operation?

Israel & the Palestinians have a security arrangement. If Abbas had done this months ago, Israel wouldn’t have had to. So why are they doing this now? And where is the ever present international media?
