Today, National Centre for Respiratory Medicine in collaboration with STO, proudly hosted the World Asthma Day 2026 Symposium under the theme:

“Access to anti-inflammatory inhalers for everyone with asthma – still an urgent need.”

The symposium was graciously attended by Madam Sajidha Mohamed, First Lady of the Maldives, highlighting the national commitment towards improving asthma care, awareness, and equitable access to essential treatment for all.

މި ފަރުވާގައި ހާއްސަ އާލާތްތަކެއް ބޭނުންކޮށްގެން ހަލާކުވަމުންދާ ކަށި ސާފުކުރުމަށްފަހު، "ބޯން ގްރާފްޓް" އަދި "ޕީ.އާރު.ޕީ(PRP) " މެދުވެރިކޮށް އާ ކަށި އުފެއްދުމަށް މަގުފަހިކޮށްދޭނެ. މިއީ 'މިނިމަލީ އިންވޭސިވް' ނުވަތަ ހަށިގަނޑުން ވަރަށް ކުޑަ ތަންކޮޅެއް ކަފައިގެން ކުރިއަށްގެންދާ ސާޖަރީއަކަށް ވުމުން، ބަލިމީހާ އުފުލަންޖެހޭ ތަކުލީފުތައް ކުޑަވެ، ފަރުވާއަށްފަހު އަވަހަށް ފަސޭހަވުމުގެ ފުރުސަތު ބޮޑުވެގެންދޭ.

މި ޚިދުމަތް ތަޢާރަފުކުރުމުގައި ދަރުމަވަންތަ ހޮސްޕިޓަލް އަދި އައި.ޖީ.އެމް.އެޗްގެ ކަށީގެ ބަލިތަކާބެހޭ ޑިޕާޓްމަންޓުގެ ހީވާގި ޑޮކްޓަރުންނާއި، ނަރހުން އަދި ޓެކްނިކަލް މުވައްޒަފުންގެ އިތުރުން މިކަމުގައި ބައިވެރިވި ހުރިހާ މުވައްޒަފުން ކުރެއްވި މަސައްކަތް ފާހަގަކޮށް، އެ ފަރާތްތަކަށް ޝުކުރު އަދާކުރަން. މާލެ ސިޓީ ގުރޫޕް އޮފް ހޮސ��ޕިޓަލްސްގެ އަމާޒަކީ ރައްޔިތުންނަށް ފެންވަރު ރަނގަޅު ސިއްހީ ޚިދުމަތްތައް މެދުނުކެނޑި ފޯރުކޮށްދިނުން.
