💣🚨BREAKING: Declan Rice fights back tears as he explains the emotional hug with his Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard after the quarter-final.
🗣️ Declan Rice: The final whistle blew and everything the score, the rivalry, the country just disappeared. All I saw was my brother standing there with that pain in his eyes, and my heart broke right alongside his.
🗣️We’ve bled together at Arsenal. We’ve cried in the dressing room after defeats, we’ve celebrated like kids when it all clicks. He’s not just my captain, he’s the one who picks me up when I’m down, the one who makes me believe I can be better every single day. Tonight we wore different colours, but that doesn’t change a thing. I ran to him because I needed him to feel my arms around him and know that I love him.
🗣️This game can be so cruel… but the bond we have is stronger than any result. I’m so proud of him, Proud of the leader, the fighter, the incredible human he is. We’ll be back at the Emirates soon side by side, hearts together, chasing dreams again.
🗣️Norway till the end for Him, England till the end for me. But Arsenal… Arsenal is forever. I love you, Captain. ❤️🤍

The Purpose of a Football Academy
—To instill professionalism in young players (routine, physical work, behavioral etiquette, etc)
—To instill tactical education and awareness (the whys of & familiarity with training drills, game dynamics, technical language & concepts)
—To teach pitch intelligence (angles, positioning, reception, body usage)
—To provide professional athletic improvement (core strength, balance, targeted muscular development)
The purpose of a football academy is not to produce footballers. It is to nurture & guide young children into the very best they can be.
—Intellectual development
—Social bonding activities
Children who have gone through an academy must emerge as excellent young adults with great aptitude, composure, confidence and skill acquisition know-how. They must emerge as above-average young adults. When an academy achieves this, joining that academy becomes a privilege equal to joining a prestigious high school.
The purpose of a football academy is not football, it is people development.
Finals are unique.
Very, very unique.
All that matters is winning.
Even Pep’s City defended low to see out the final against Inter.
Klopp’s Liverpool against Spurs.
Madrid did it all the time too.
Don’t make overarching conclusions about game-models based on finals.
Feels like time to call it a day on this account, so this will be my final post.
I started this piss-taking Celebration Police thing 4 years ago and it’s genuinely been great fun. Unexpectedly so.
Through this account, I’ve met and engaged with some brilliant people, built a 55k following, made a bit of money and, for the most part, enjoyed my time here.
But let’s be honest: the joke wore thin a long time ago. And i’m bored of this platform and the increasingly repetitive, shit banter that fills it.
And Arsenal have won the league, so who gives a fuck about weirdos telling you when you can or can’t be happy about the football team you invest so much of yourself in😂
Policing celebrations is about as lame as it gets. It really is😂👎🏻
So thank you for all the support over the years, each and every one of you, and for engaging with The Celebration Police. You’ve been brilliant❤️
So for one last time…
ALL UNITS TO THE EMIRATES!!! 🚨🚨🚨

🚨Rice “Mikel is gutted but he spoke about how much he loves us. I think we have come so far as a club. When I came to this club it was a QF exit then a Semi Final exit and now a final exit. One more step and we go again.
One thing about us, this wont define us.
We will be back”
Declan Rice reaction after the Champions League final loss to PSG.
He knows how close Arsenal were to winning it. He knows we'll be back.
All the most recent UCL runners-up have bounced back and won it.
Chelsea, Liverpool, and even PSG all lost and came back to win it.
