Fascinating and important op-ed by @Tzipi_Livni at @Newsweek on #jerusalem. We must use the opportunity to promote peace, otherwise the whole region will burn. https://t.co/gJj0RKJ8hL
3) Gabbay says Israel needs to restart peace process, it’s possible & Jerusalem decision can inspire the region to start negotiations. “I don’t see eye-to-eye w our govt. I believe in separation from the Palestinians...to ensure our security for many years” #JPostdiplomatic17
2) Jerusalem: “It’s a symbol, much more than a city. For Jewish ppl through the ages, was part of something in heaven. We do not compromise on our symbols. I’m happy about the possible American decision. For me, it was always our capital.”

Gabbay says his vision relies on 4 things most Israelis agree on
1) Security - no compromises.
“I’m not scared of Iran. They should be scared of us. We’re powerful. They’re a threat, but we can handle them and prevent them from being a nuclear nation.”
