The government is ending its Covid-19 Plan B measures in England & face masks will no longer be mandatory, My advice as a doctor & public health specialist is that people should continue to wear face masks (ideally a FFP2 mask) when in indoor spaces outside their home.

Another Important public health message! As well as knowing about cold like symptoms- always swab both your throat as well as your nose if you want an accurate #LFT ! We are lucky in U.K. to have them - so let’s use wisely

Got my booster today at Wokingham Hospital. It’s their second day of vaccinating and they are set to inoculate 900 people today. Just a phenomenal feat! Big thank you to all the staff & volunteers who are making it happen in the last weeks of the year to keep us all safe 👏👏👏
