The communist doesn’t think to increase the quality of the grid. The communist demands that you decrease the quality of your life.
They make you ration the things that every other American gets to enjoy. Every single time.
250 years, and your empire has been reduced to a single island the size of Michigan, with a GDP barely higher than Mississippi, the poorest of our fifty states.
Enjoy your warm beer in that unairconditioned old pub.
Don’t talk too much shit online though, you might get arrested.
To the Americans:
I've travelled all over the world. I've familiarized myself with many places, and met many people. And I'm a Canadian, although I’m privileged to reside once again in the States.
And here's something I've noticed, and it’s a key element of America's continuing greatness:
You bloody Americans value success, and you believe in its existence.
This is something that doesn't really happen anywhere else in the world. Even in other free democracies—the United Kingdom; Finland, Sweden, and Norway; Australia, New Zealand and Canada; Germany, France, and the Netherlands (great countries all)—a counterproductive cynicism too often reigns.
Success is equated with exploitation.
Ambition is looked upon with contempt.
This happens sometimes in the United States too—particularly among the miserable progressives, who confuse their resentment, ingratitude and unearned skepticism with wisdom.
But in your great country, by and large, striving is admired and success celebrated.
This means that more people strive and succeed in the US than anywhere else. And it's increasingly obvious. You remain stunningly more innovative and productive than any people anywhere else on the planet.
And so I say, as all should who are fortunate enough to live in the western world, let alone America:
Thank God for the United States.
Thank God for the wisdom of its founders.
Thank God for its faith in the free market and in the natural rights of man.
Happy birthday, you damn Yankees and Southerners.
Long may your admirable country dominate the world.
Long may your freedom and hope provide an example to those suffering everywhere at the hands of their malevolent states.
May your two and a half centuries of unparallelled success be just the beginning.
Your country is the light of the world, and the city on the hill.
Thank God for the USA.
Happy 250th.

I waited 20 minutes today for a Walmart employee to unlock a pack of razors from the security case for me, and it’s not because Elon Musk is stealing them.
Every dollar Elon Musk has made is traceable. Every product sold, every service rendered, every government contract awarded, every share of stock bought or sold. It’s all on the record.
You, on the other hand, haven’t built a company, invented a product, or created anything people willingly pay for. You’ve spent the last 14 years collecting a $174,000 Senate salary.
Yet somehow you managed to buy a luxury D.C. condo, a $4 million Victorian mansion in Cambridge, and saw your net worth balloon by 150% to $12 million. Everyone knows where Musk’s money came from. The same can’t be said for yours.
Oh yes, I remember that Bond film where the villain decarbonized the auto industry, brought fast internet to everyone on the planet, and helped paralyzed people interact with the world again.
You could give “the typical American” 11 MILLION years and they still would not create PayPal, Tesla, SpaceX, OpenAI, xAI, Neuralink, Boring Company, Ad Astra, all while single-handedly saving free speech for all mankind while lifting humanity out of the grip of Big Tech tyranny.
Being A-List Preferred for years didn’t matter yesterday.
For those wondering, Group 6 means you get to gate check your “carry on” all the way to your destination.
Not in “LUV” with the new budget airline business model at Southwest.
Flying ✈️ Story Time: Southwest Edition
Flew from Tampa to San Diego last night on Southwest Airlines.@SouthweAir
The plane wasn’t full. At all.
In my row were three of us: a couple and me. The man was in the middle seat and—let’s be honest—Southwest seats are not built for broad shoulders. He physically could not sit comfortably.
There was a completely empty row directly in front of us.
Trying to be a decent human, I stopped the flight attendant and said:
“Hey, would you mind if I move up there so these folks have more room?”
Answer: No.
Those seats were “premium” for extra legroom.
I said, “There’s nobody else on the plane. The row is empty. This man is squished. You’re telling me I can’t move for a five-hour flight?”
Her response:
“No. You didn’t pay the premium amount. You must stay in your assigned seat.”
Cool. Cool cool cool.
And then—this is where it crossed into absurd—every single time she walked past me for the rest of the flight, she aggressively shook the little trash bag.
Shake. Shake. Shake.
Over. And over. And over.
It wasn’t about safety.
It wasn’t about logistics.
It was about enforcing a rule purely because she could.
This is how airlines lose goodwill. Not through big disasters—but through tiny, unnecessary power trips when kindness would cost them nothing.
Other passengers were shocked by her behavior as well. I spent the flight leaning to the left so the poor man could put his shoulders back on his seat. 🤷♀️
Do better. ✋
We’ve been @SouthwestAir customers for 15 years. Cardholders. A List Preferred. This new Southwest is hugely disappointing. The new boarding is utter chaos. Paying for extra leg room and being on planes with no extra legroom. Employees aren’t friendly. Awful.
Air traffic controllers aren’t getting paid.
Federal employees aren’t getting paid.
Practically the only people in our government who ARE getting paid are members of Congress.
That's why I brought two bills to the Senate floor to stop paying Congress during shutdowns.
On Monday, I will ask President Trump, via X, to help save my life. He offered to help me if I needed it.
I need it.
As many of you know, I have metastasized prostate cancer.
My healthcare provider, Kaiser of Northern California, has approved my application to receive a newly FDA-approved drug called Pluvicto. But they have dropped the ball in scheduling the brief IV to administer it and I can’t seem to fix that.
I am declining fast. I will ask President Trump if he can get Kaiser of Northern California to respond and schedule it for Monday. That will give me a fighting chance to stick around on this planet a little bit longer.
It is not a cure, but it does give good results to many people.
