@Mello_Proto @JonnyBlox Agreed, the tension of the movie felt very earned. If we look back at movies like Buried (Ryan Reynolds, 2010) you can see the same application of "building with silence". I felt it deserved a higher score, even then for the impressive use of practical effects if nothing else.

@drugresponseman @ArtemisOdinson @wanted2befound @Soren0101 That appreciation is why they worked though. They built off of them and improved the story through the games. The books and games co-exist as separate but same stories. The show writers don't have an appreciation for them. This is why the show will fail. Look at the Halo show.
