@BenjiNaesen @Frans46831552 please send me full heli slomo replays of those last 6 km from Dygert, Kasia, Adegeest and Canyon team coms for further evaluation, thanks
@BenjiNaesen@dr_broemme she always keeps pedaling and also has the inner line + the front wheel ahead for all but a millisecond in the middle of the corner. In sprinting we only penalise if someone deviates from her line (the curve looks fine for me) or if someone more or less stops pedaling.
@LucGrefte switched before, Gery goes in first. She keeps pedaling, I see no breaking, rides the curve to the curb and naturally slows down compared to Demi. Not super fair but Kasia could have avoided by waiting until after the corner or if she had the better lead-out in the first place.
@BenjiNaesen To me it looks a lot like Woutโs Roubaix win was the last goal to reach at Visma for him. So only logical to be open for a new project which also presented itself at the same time. Not like there are 20 WT teams with high enough budgets / ambitions so again logical to jump.
@LanterneRougeYT@friebos I mean you could argue that guys would have a higher risk of losing their second place by not pulling but thatโs exactly what the accusation is: that they are happy to race for second instead of risking it for a higher chance of winning
@SitkoSebastian For a recreational (not main income) rider I agree, for a classic rider I would also agree. For someone whose job it is to be a GC rider in mountainous stage races with the advantage of nutritionists and experts accompanying weight loss in specific phases I am not so sure.
@Digger_forum If they arenโt outright doping by using stuff on the lists then they are doing everything which is not officially prohibited to get the Vo2max / red blood cells and all that up as far as possible. That would be more of a nuanced discussion then outright doping (?).
@Digger_forum I agree that it looks suspicious. At the same time training has evolved a lot based on the old stories of long tempo rides with only water. And if the narrative is true there were no altitude camps and heat training back in the 90s/ 2010s.
@BenjiNaesen yeah, they should do it like a Zwift Racing League Fastest Through Segment with the favorites dangling at the back of the bunch for maximum draft ๐๐
@feelthebyrn1 if you want to do it a bit more โscientificโ and over a wider range you can also use free tools like zwifpower or paid tools to compare the fit files. Might also be erg-mode watts are a bit โflattenedโ but it should be close anyway. https://t.co/QwQQ4aJzQ5
