- Here’s why…

You have to actively be in this crypto space and do your own research.

I’m not saying be here every hour of the day, but occasionally look in the market and find something that no one is looking at, FUDing or has low-moderate attention.

Find out why the project is at its current level. See IF it can grow and has room in this space.

- Here is what I check for.

1. Look at the description of coins on CMC (or CG). To me it’s like a sells pitch if it’s simple to understand and could bring value I’ll look further.

2. I’ll find out who’s backing it. Sometimes this helps to know because projects like Solana I knew was not gonna go to zero because it was back by major VCs and corporations and they don’t like to loose money.

3. Find out who’s talking about it. Type in the ticker on Twitter or go on YouTube.

4. Tokenomics. Is one of the major things to look at. In short, this will determine if you are gonna make money or not.

There are more things to do as far as research purposes, but I’m just listing what I look at first.

Also Look through popular ecosystems. The layers 1s are just a collective of multiple projects in one. With something like $SOL you are investing in the entirety of its ecosystem. Find projects like $ORCA (the top DEX) that’s within the $SOL eco.

Last bull I would base my opinion on YouTube and some Twitter influencers. I’ve made money, but I could’ve made a whole lot more if I researched on my own. I’ve also lot most of it by listening to them as well and had to rebuild my portfolio and now it’s WAY better. No one’s fault other than my own.
Sometimes you pay a lot of money to learn a simple lesson. 😅
