The issue with seeing is that you could see a future well defined but until you get to that point in time it is only a probability.
Not only can others see the same thing and affect the timeline but you can not see everything at every point leading up to what you saw.
This ensures that no one can actually predict the future with any degree of certainty.
An analogy to this is a dark field and a spot light.
You don't know how many players are on the field and you can only see some distant point.
By the time you get to that point it is highly likely it will have changed.
