@CarlUnit70 @NOTguilty88 @rjpedigo@BuenoForMiami Well... a typical high school experience includes a lot more than 5 hours of testing. Such as homework, papers, essays, projects, speeches. Plus a whole lot of early mornings vs just one. And PE. π So suggesting that high school is the easier route seems a bit off.
@BunBoxMomo@lindyli A little arbitrary.... the majority of people of all ages don't have the first clue about economics, lol. An 18 year old econ. major is probably head and shoulders over most voters by that metric. We don't restrict voting by IQ, education, or moral character. Why age of adults?
@MistresofCitrus@TheUnderkater15@MAGAgrammy1963@prob_zero@ericareport Certainly no one is going to release PII. But age categories (eg 200k ballots have been returned by voters 18-30) should be a simple report to run and there's no reason state election officials shouldn't release that info if there are so inclined.
@logicistheway@kari_tacoma@MartyParty75023@smerobin There are plenty of stats on this, not just an asspull, lol. Backing in is safer, which is why any professional driving course will teach you to do it that way.
@stephenanth0ny@kari_tacoma@MartyParty75023@smerobin It's much easier to back in than back out because 1) poor visibility, so you have to be frantically checking for pedestrians, and 2) the chance that someone parks across from you while you're in the building, making it much more difficult to back out.
@logicistheway@kari_tacoma@MartyParty75023@smerobin I mean unless you find a spot you can pull through, you're going to have to back up on one end or the other. Much safer to back than back out. And if cars have parked it the opposite spots while you're in the building it might not even be POSSIBLE to back out.
@scubacuda999@kari_tacoma@MartyParty75023@smerobin Basic logic really escapes you, doesn't it? If a person backs in, it may take then a few more seconds to get into their spot, but they save time later by not having to back out. Which contrary to your statement, is usually more difficult and always lower visibility.
@TheRealHoarse@NateSilver538 Diesel $5.22 today. Up from about 4.50 a month ago, but down from 5.70ish mid summer. In January it was $2.85 though.... enormous budgetary impact. Not one that's going to effect that way I vote, but it's hardly irrational to be concerned.
@GeniusLab_95 @algaemick@snoopy_jpg@TheThomason People don't like to be rude. But honestly not checking on someone's coffee for 30 minutes sounds like bad service to me, even if she HADN'T ordered anything else. By 30 minutes she definitely needed a warm-up if not a refill. π
@freeCAFC @TitPostLeft As a former teacher, children coming to school with ANY communicable illness was the bane of my existence. It's disgusting that a school would expect such a thing. Also head lice??? π€’
@courtneyknill@AlanPlotzker@JamesSurowiecki If this were true, why not send some of these folks from Jacksonville? Sounds cheaper, more convenient, and more beneficial to the people of Florida (assuming the immigrants truly are a net negative... maybe the orange lobby begged him not to deport FL undocumented. π)
@DCRjrBuffalo @TheVandelay@michaelkarlik Vs. bought and paid for by special interest groups? I guess it depends on you want them to be useful to I suppose. π€
@amackenz2048 @LarrySanchez79@abughazalehkat Unemployment rate = percentage of labor market not currently working. So a reduced labor force is a driver of low unemployment.
@LuckyPants0_ @maxsebastii @JamieEscala @SvensPronfest @MichaelWarbur17@chemical360 What...? I don't think you understood the letter, lol. He's not being a jerk at all. π€
