@WallStreetApes Having such massive debt as a man my age just means that I will not retire. I'll die at work. And my job will now not be available to a young person for another 15 years. I will not be spending $ I'll be paying loans. $100k/yr job dissolves into nothing towards the economy.

@WallStreetApes $28k? My daughter (education major) has $108k in loans & she got a "free" year of college while still in HS. That doesn't include the loans we, her parents, had to take as well. As a matter of fact, I owe more in parent plus loans than this OP owes for her own education.
