On Thursday, @RwandaHealth and @Rwanda_Edu co-chaired the 4x4 Steering Committee bringing together leaders from academia, professional councils, teaching hospitals, and regulatory institutions to review progress and strengthen coordination in implementing Rwanda’s 4x4 reform.
Key milestones include digitized health education, expansion of the Associate Nursing Programme, the harmonization of licensing examinations across health professions, and improved quality of training.
These gains reflect strong cross-sector collaboration to build a resilient health system.

Today, Brig Gen Patrick Karuretwa, the Defence Spokesperson and Director General of International Military Cooperation delivered a lecture to members of Itorero Indangamirwa Cohort 16 at the Gabiro Military Training Centre in Gatsibo District  focusing on strengthening Rwandan values, patriotism, leadership, and civic responsibility.

A 16th cohort of Itorero Indangamirwa is participating in a six-week training programme running from 1 July to 10 August at the Combat Training Centre Gabiro. I enjoyed watching the videos from yesterday’s Unity Club event, but this panel is a 10/10.

Seeing a former EX-FAR officer who is now an Assistant Commissioner of Police in the RNP, a retired RDF General, former RPA, and this gentleman who only recently returned to Rwanda after being part of the FDLR, all sharing the same stage to speak about unity and what we can achieve when we come together as one.

I can’t think of a more fitting illustration of what Ndi Umunyarwanda truly means.

Today, this mother shared how family therapy helped her move from rejection to unconditional love, after her teenage daughter became pregnant.

She is now supporting her daughter raise her child, and through this process, is transforming the future of her grandchild.
