And so do behaviors.

A person who only really knows how to cooperate has no meaningful response against someone who's planning to defect, so they'll end up getting betrayed and lose everything.

You must build a capacity for exerting punishment and hope you'll never need to wield it.

Peace held by helplessness is an empty prayer.

For every person who succeeded, I've watched at least 12 others fail.

Not because they had no skills or talents.

They lacked resilience.

Motivation drove them to fiercely pursue their goals, yet it too faded abruptly when results delivered no tangible reward.

It really wasn't a "great downfall."
More like a silent surrender, vanishing into obscurity once more.

But those who remained and succeeded shared one trait: They worked when no one was looking, when their whole efforts were nothing more than an ambitious joke.

It sounds so easy, yet it requires so much resilience that the average person cannot fathom the discipline behind it.

"I could easily do that" is what someone who has never experienced these circumstances would say.

The nefarious terrorist group ISWAP has released a picture of the dead body of Nigerian Brigadier General Musa Uba.

They also released a screenshot from his phone WhatsApp after they searched it, they laughed at the fact that the dead general sent his exact location to the Nigerian army but yet the Army still failed to rescue him and the terrorists found him first.

Well just incase you do not know what this means, I will explain it to you in simple terms: a terrorist organisation now has full access to a Nigerian army general’s phone that he used for military operations, and that will contain a lot of top confidential security information.
