@RussellKolts I’m a clinical psychologist who supports parents around anger. Please would you DM me so I can send you some info about a possible interview?
Best wishes,
Caroline
An honour to be invited on @BBCWomansHour today to speak about attachment trauma, thank you for having me. If you’re struggling with difficult feelings, please speak to a loved one & your GP for further support.
Did you grow up feeling unwanted by your parents, or perhaps you found yourself in a situation where you were having a baby you didn’t want? @JessCreighton1 discusses the issue with @_DrBoyd and Tammy Davidson
"Asking for help is not a sign that you’re a failure or a ‘bad’ mum. It shows you’re committed to improving things for you and your baby."
Delighted to comment on this piece focusing on Kate's vital Early Years work @jomacfarlane

Loved speaking at the brilliant #BirthTrauma2020 conference this week. Making connections & sharing my findings on intrusive, unwanted harm thoughts about the baby. So common yet taboo. More info on IG (@_DrBoyd) to help mums feel less alone #intrusivethoughts@birth_better
@cathode_blue @birth_better Thanks for your comment. For more info re unwanted harm thoughts, could look at https://t.co/kwgl3J9izB. Also info on perinatal OCD at https://t.co/ZiZ51kA0kK. On traumatic birth - https://t.co/JQ3h4brtSs. Hope this helps a little.
How do new/recent mothers experience unwanted thoughts of harm related to their newborn?
New research - fears of being judged 'mad', 'bad' or 'dangerous' mean women don't talk about these thoughts. We need to help mums feel more ok to talk about them.

Really enjoyed presenting at #SRIP2019. Looking forward to getting the messages out about my doctoral research on unwanted harm thoughts about the baby (in press). So common but little discussed due to stigma. #psychologist#maternalmentalhealth#intrusivethoughts
