@mattshumer_ I genuinely think you are giving Sarah from HR at HCA Healthcare waaaay too much credit. Her day is “I go here and click this button and then it does this thing” and requests her IT dept to help her when the volume on her laptop wasn’t working because she pressed the mute button.
@Mattinthemix@IterIntellectus You’re framing this wrong.. most fiber is not for the human but for the gut bacteria that live inside. They break this fiber down into an insane cocktail of nutrients for us. Look it up.
@geoffwoo I think it’s more realistic that everyone will have a personal dashboard they can prompt into existence but at some point dynamic ui becomes cognitive overhead no? I want flexibility but I also want consistency.
@levelsio will all of this end up behind some kind of platform like YouTube? all software will become free but with ads, or you can pay the platform $30 a mo to "use any app"?
@adamdotdev I really think that music production is a great parallel.. an entire song can be "recorded" using audio samples now without having actually recorded an instrument. However, some producers still record real instruments for certain sounds. Same with code.
@shauseth I mean most apps are just CRUD + starting boilerplate.. music is just chords, a beat, maybe a singer on top... the differentiator has and always will be the choices inside of that "structure." Even the newest models / agents will become commoditized.
