@LisaLueddecke David Attenborough's 2-part "First Life" (Arrival and Conquest) is brilliant and hardly known. How life started and how plants and animals first evolved. You can find it online.

@LisaLueddecke I couldn't watch "The Land Before Time" with my kids because I cried when the baby dinosaurs were separated from their parents at the start 😭 But my kids say it's good.
@mr_bmh1 Clearly remember a HT I was working with starting a 2pm meeting with "Apologies in advance, I'll have to step out a little early... it's been wet for 3 days so I'll be needed to break up the boys' fights at the end of last lesson".
Born this day in 1912, Alan Turing. One of the greatest minds Britain has produced. Father of modern computing & famous for his WWII work at Bletchley Park. He may have shortened WWII by 2 years, saving over 2m lives. His country drove him to suicide because he was gay.
Do you know a child who likes animals and drawing?
If they are aged 7-9, they can take part in our first online class "Design a Zoo" on the Outschool learning platform, at 5pm London time / 12pm NYC / 9am Pacific, tomorrow (Tuesday 16th):

@MsJoBillington My friend at British Boxers is making some lovely comfy ones and she knows about SEND kids and sensitivities, she might be able to advise. @deborahprice1 what do you think? Pascale
@Teacherglitter Technically only just signed up to teach on Outschool this week and have yet to make a $, but here's our GLAZED BREAKFAST DOUGHNUTS, made with DD11:
I saw someone tweet earlier if they see one more teacher post home baking they are doing on Twitter on full pay they will scream. I feel we owe it to society to cause a scream for teachers by all sharing a photo of a cake/pie/casserole we have made in lockdown.
