@montycrypto7@Vivek4real_ I mean he’s not wrong. All OG bitcoiners will agree that privacy should have been added to Bitcoin base layer long ago. But also transparency is a feature too. Tough one
@ronsterd89 World hunger is logistics issue, not money issue. No amount of money hand out will solve this issue without proper management and dedicated resolve
Just a reminder... Elon didn't just accept Bitcoin, he did it the right way. Real addresses. Self custody. Used his own node. His team even helped patch bugs in BTCPay Server. He used Bitcoin as actual money.
He was a true economic node in the network. That single move did more for real Bitcoin adoption than anything else. And lets not forget that SpaceX still holds real Bitcoin on their balance sheet to this day. We know they actually have it.
Meanwhile Saylor is still just stacking IOUs and shilling corporate digital credit bullshit.
Elon, if you're reading this, bring Bitcoin payments back to Tesla. Were waiting.
Today is ground zero for the best poker tournament that exists.
5 grueling full days of poker to determine a champion out of 100 odd players playing 9 of the best games in a mixed format with no cap where it is hard to hide weaknesses.
It is the longest structure tournament in existence.
It is the real modern successor to what the WSOP Main Event was originally - a week long mixed cash game among the top pros to determine the best player.
I got nine hours of sleep last night.
I am going to have fun and ready and solve puzzles for 5 straight days.
There is nothing outside of my table that exists.
The past and the future don't matter; the result of this tournament and what it means don't matter; it doesn't matter if I go out or double up;
All that matters is the quality of my next decision.
Heading over now. LFG
@TroyWagmi@_esk_kse_ Making no money atm is a feature. They are still on the precipice of great growth. Also the biggest insiders are locked up initially, although you are right that some insiders sell.
I do agree as with most IPO the price will rally and then crash and then sideways for a while
There’s something about watching the same high rollers getting it in with 99+ AK against eachother on repeat for the last 3 years that I just can’t watch the stream for more than a few minutes. Every now and again there will be an incredible hand that makes me fall in love with poker again, but they’re always clipped and easy to see standalone.
Also no interest in high stakes cash whales randomly flipping for infinite.
Because of huge over exposure to NLH streams it dilutes the excitement of main event streams since we have it available basically 365 days a year.
Things I’d love to watch/tune in for
- 10k mix championship fts with household legends
- Random rags to riches FTs
Liftoff of Starship V3, from the dunes right outside the pad.
This is the most insane shockwave action I have ever seen on video. Absolutely mad.
📽️ Me for @WeAreSpaceScout
A deck of cards has:
- 52 cards = 52 weeks in a year
- 4 suits = 4 seasons
- 12 royal cards = 12 months in a year
- Ace through King = 13, the amount of lunar months in a year
- 366 = the amount of cards in a deck if you include jokers; the amount of days in a leap year
How nerdy and fun is this shit?!
The best way to think about orbital data centers is this:
"How many additional human-equivalents of intelligence does this add to the planet"
A human brain is 20 Watts. An ODC is maybe 200kW.
If computers are 1000x less efficient than humans, 100TW is five billion brains
@AJamesMcCarthy@Astro_ChrisW@whoisinspace@astro_Pettit Hey why is the atmosphere so distinct? I thought it gradually got less dense but in this picture there’s a sharp distinction between atmosphere and space like a line drawn. Cheers. Love your pics
