Our entire local history family was heartbroken by the death of #HistoryForge co-founder Robert Kibbee on May 31st 2022. The project combined many of Bob's passions, including maps, census data, genealogy, and local history.

'reCOUNT: Facing our Census' opened at @TompkinsHistory in downtown #Ithaca on 4/1. The exhibit draws hugely on the Ithaca #HistoryForge project which spans 1900-1940 (1880 is finished too we just have to make it live!). This exhibit will be on display April 2022-March 2023.
Just one more day until the opening of 'reCOUNT: Facing our Census'! Doors open at 10am and will stay open until 8pm as part of #GalleryNight in #DowntownIthaca. #twithaca

Have you ever wondered what life was like in #Oberlin in 1910? What were Oberlinians doing day to day? What type of jobs did they have? Learn from Ohio History Service Corps member Marissa Hamm from the @OberlinHeritage#HistoryForge project: https://t.co/Cg05wNbRk5
We found Sol Goldberg on the 1940 #census for #IthacaNY. In 1940 Solomon was 17 years old and living at 105 S. Meadow St with his family. Records for minors tend to be sparse, but we look forward to seeing his records in the 1950 census being released next year! #HistoryForge
