Important to remember that the United States is the largest producer of CO2 historically. And while other larger emitters such as China (the worlds largest manufacturing power) are seeing their emissions drop, the US is increasing its emissions
🚨: Scientists just declared "Catastrophic mortality event" over whale deaths.
Over 145 whale carcasses washed ashore on the U.S. West Coast in 2026, signaling a devastating population collapse driven by climate change and starvation.
Oh no. Wales are washing ashore in other countries as well. One died last week on the coast of DR Congo. Whales are being starved due to over fishing, struck and killed by cruisehips, and I think rising ocean temperatures as well.
These animals balance the marine ecosystem.
@delonperc There’s a questionnaire called a MADRS that gives doctors an idea of just how depressed you are, and how functional. It asks how difficult tasks are, and how well you’re able to compete them. If they try to rate you, that should become clear.
Good luck.
How do I explain to my doctor that my depression isn’t bad in the “I can’t function at all” way, but more like the “when I get home from doing outside obligations, I have no desire/interest to do the inside obligations. Like cleaning, laundry, self care/hygiene, etc.”?
yoo inna asked them what kind of drama they want to be in if the 4 of them could meet again and there's gong yoo said he was thinking about a makjang plot where he’s dating inna while being married to goeun and inna is married to dongwook lmao😭
When I was young, there was a somewhat famous story among parents. A mom struck her son on a fatal spot and he died instantly. The mom thought he was playing dead, and beat his corpse angrily again and again. It was only until he started turning cold did she realize he's gone
I can't believe there are people in the replies defending this. Negara lain tak buat benda bodoh macam ni. The shutters close AFTER the last train goes.
These teachers and librarians weren't playing favourites, or forcing children to learn to compete when they read.
You can only blame screens for so much.
The best librarians and teachers I knew growing up didn't care what the kids were reading as long as they read, and those kids kept going. A classroom table full of all kinds of books and levels to choose from, libraries with zero judgement and expectation.
