@Mormonger @MikeWingerii I'm asking this because it does seems strange to me if a LDS claims "I'm a Christian, too!" I think the claim should be, "You're not Christians, but I am. Be like I am."

I.e The Protestants reject the LDS as Christians. I think the LDS should reject Prots as Christians, too.

If my beliefs are an abomination, shouldn't I accept I'm not a follower of Christ (not a Christian) and thus follow Christ (convert to LDS)?

@Mormonger @MikeWingerii Honest question: Why do Latter-Day Saints want to be identified as Christians, when God told Joseph Smith that all Christian churches are an abomination? Wouldn't it make sense to embrace an alternative identity (i.e. "we're not Christians")?

The KJV has been my primary translation for 3-4 years and I still regularly reach for the ESV to understand a verse.

It's gotten easier over time but the translation legitimately isn't easy for many people.

Wisdom literature and the poetic books are especially difficult for me.
