So, back in February, I was sharing job opportunities with the amazing @web3ladies community, and it got me thinking. I realized that some ladies might hold back from applying due to imposter syndrome, something I've struggled with too.

It broke my heart to see that we couldn't get as many passionate female engineers within Web3Ladies for the just-concluded #ethereumfrontiersafrica event in Nairobi.

A few of the ladies from @web3ladies were determined to be there; however, only one could attend, thanks to support from the organizers, my personal contribution, and some personal funding from the lady herself.

Visas are a huge blocker and challenge for international events, but finances are an even bigger challenge for local events.

Based on rough estimates, the event saw a 30/70 women-to-men ratio in attendance, which is great, but it could have been better!

If you know of any funds or grants that could support more women and female developers within Web3 to access such high-quality events—events that have the potential to broaden one's perspective, exposure, and collective intelligence—please comment below. We're building up a list of upcoming events and possible sponsorships.
