Our literacy walk took place in Mabopane, Tshwane District.
These walks remind communities that reading is a shared responsibility we can all take part in.
Learners from Nong Primary School and Rekopantse Primary School marched proudly to Mabopane Library, holding placards filled with powerful literacy messages. The walk ended with a warm and enthusiastic welcome from the library team.
Thank you to our partners, @CityTshwane libraries and the @GautengProvince Department of Education, for standing with us in championing a nation of readers.

Today marks the third day of the Monitoring and Support Programme for the Cuban Programme at MSTA Academy.
This week, from 9–13 February, the Academy is hosting targeted teacher training sessions for Physical Sciences educators from our 101 schools. Guided by the Diagnostic Report, we identify key areas of challenge from Grade 10 to Grade 12 and provide focused support to strengthen content knowledge and teaching strategies.
In Grade 10, the focus is on Electrostatics, while Grade 11 teachers are receiving support on Electricity. For Grade 12, the emphasis is on Mechanics, particularly Vertical Projectile Motion. Beyond content, the training also equips teachers with effective methodologies to confidently implement these concepts in their classrooms.
As an Academy, our mandate is to increase both participation and performance in Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and broader STEM subjects. By empowering teachers with the right tools and strategies, we ensure that learners receive quality instruction, improve their understanding, and ultimately achieve better results.

I am not my certificates
I am not my degrees
I am not my titles
Yes, I worked damn hard for the certificates, the degrees, and the titles, BUT they do not make me who I am.
I am more than all of the titles, degrees & certificates. I am a giver of HOPE!
Hope that things will get better. No matter how bad the situation may seem, it could have been worse and so what you are experiencing is definitely not the worst. Hope that you are made to win, survive and thrive!
