@urgayasfucklol@LonelyGamer2242 If the store did the due diligence why was a damaged card priced at NM? Your logic falls flat.
A vendor has to have some amount of reputation for them to be allowed to vend at a regional, so most players would be generally trusting of vendors, so it leads to some complacency
@urgayasfucklol@LonelyGamer2242 Usually when your buying from a store which is vending and pricing their things as NM you would figure they would be practicing honest business so not taking the double check is common
@Jamaizon You always have the right to appeal to the head judge if you disagree with the floor judge,
Player moved on with their action, so them misplaying is not a fault in your part
@PG_rayC@Nataliem9999 You do realize the DPP both offsets the damage of the flip and the damage of the extra card being drawn right???
“Ah yes let me lose two prizes just to reflip one coin which may not even win me the game in the end”
@blakewray7 Deck checks are required for challenges Also?
If the issue is them just checking your deck out in the open then you should just request as much?
@Jace_TCG@pkmnaricast@ZachBS_ This is probably something that should have been mentioned in you initial post ngl. Makes your side much more sympathetic and reasonable.
However yea there isn’t any money to be made at 100-100 trades, but also I hate 99% of vendors so they don’t deserve anything anyways.
@ItsPraww@Murford23 Not just dates like the venue itself
Coming from AV/Convention work the closer you get the higher the price goes up regardless if they are busy or not
@RexProfessor@PercocetPiplup@xogremlyn Judging on stream ≠ The experience from leadership positions and complex situations that you supposedly understand.
Could there have been room for a quick pause? Maybe. But don’t pretend your experience trumps the people in the helm if your experience is less than 3 events.
@PercocetPiplup@xogremlyn@RexProfessor FWIW their “years of experience” is as a floor judge, no positions of leadership or experience that would actually inform them of the processes involved.
@PrinBirb Real ones remember leaving the venue at 11pm with the only dinner place open being the mediocre hotel restaurant that may or may not cause food poisoning into needing to be back at the venue at 8am
