@TheAuDHDECT @WhiteRoseMaths Do a like fluent in 5 at the beginning of every lesson? Plan for qs that you feel your chn struggle with. Might not be enough, but over time, I have seen a diff from doing this. Numicon is gd for perimeter. Helps them see it. If you have to follow WRM, just use it alongside?😊

@_MissieBee 5x50 min writing lessons with SPaG strs for grammar. At the start of the year we teach GR carousal style, then we move to 4x50 mins whole class reading lessons later in yr to tch reading skills. We use read2write scheme for writing. Phonics everyday for 30 mins in morning.

@MissHPrimary_ @MrTs_NQTs Songs are one of my fave ways to do this - lots of good, memorable ones on YouTube too. You can’t teach it securely in 4 lessons, but can start teaching them to recognise patterns etc within the timestables e.g. multiples of 10 end in 0, 2s are even, 5s end in 0 or 5 etc. x

@lmeducational @kateowbridge Didn’t get the job as Maths Lead which pushed me to start a Masters in Educational Leadership. I have recently just been offered said job and now also have my Masters😀
