Sambhal ASP, Kuldeep Singh, says, “An exercise to seal the premises was being carried out in Kaserua village, within the jurisdiction of the Nakhasa police station. During this process, some objectionable material was recovered from the building. प्रयागराज में मंसूर अहमद को 8 दिन तक अवैध तरीके से न्यायिक हिरासत में रखा गया। इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट ने पीड़ित को 2 लाख रुपए मुआवजा देने का निर्देश UP सरकार को दिया है। यह पैसा प्रयागराज में तैनात ACP वेदव्यास मिश्रा की सैलरी से कटेगा।

हाईकोर्ट ने कहा है कि केवल शांतिभंग करने पर व्यक्ति को पर्सनल बॉन्ड भरने का अवसर देना चाहिए। गैरजरूरी न्यायिक हिरासत (जेल भेजने) से बचना चाहिए। 24 घंटे से ज्यादा गैर जरूरी न्यायिक हिरासत होने पर रोजाना 25 हजार रुपए मुआवजा दिया जाए।
