🚨Mohammed Salah on the loss vs Argentina today:
🗣️: “It’s difficult to accept a result like this because I honestly don’t think football was the deciding factor tonight.
We gave everything we had, but when the officiating consistently go against you, it becomes impossible to compete.
I’m not looking for excuses, but everyone watching could see what happened. At this level, you expect fairness above all else. Instead, it felt like they already had their favorites. The entire world saw that today, and that’s all I’ll say.”
@Peter_Bukowski It’s pretty easy to explain. Men’s baseball, football, hockey, and several other sports that pay well exist. Name a women’s sport that pays well… while you are at it, name another country that elevates women’s sports like the U.S. does. It’s easy pickings for the women’s team.
Now that the US is knocked out, I am formally extending an invitation to the American people to support Norway.
Why?
1: The Vikings discovered America before Columbus.
2: There are more ethnic Norwegians in the US than in Norway.
3: Next weekend we can pillage the English peasants together.
4:
Do not blame Balogun for this outcome.
He did not complain about the red card.
He shook the ref's hand.
He said that he wanted to be a good role model for kids.
Most other players whine on every single foul called.
Balogun showed class and I am a lifetime fan.
Not only does Zlatan believe there never should have been a red card, he believes the reversal should have been made SOONER. You expect me to believe twitter losers over Ibra?? 😂😂
“A ridiculous red card suspension was overturned. We now have to play against the full American team, it’s not fair.”
— Belgium who was awarded a fake penalty against Senegal a few hours before
@JamesMelville It’s not that hard to figure out.. you have to be a moron to think that Quansah didn’t deserve that red.. the Balogun challenge was just not worthy of a red.
