@PeterSchiff Of course a form of socialism is implicit in perpetual productivity optimization of "capitalism" and Hayek admitted as much. At least you are honest about your priors.
@TrendingBitcoin "The four years cycle is now the five year cycle" is simply another way of saying it's broken pattern and it's outside of cyclical territory.
@PeterSchiff@TrendingBitcoin I have liked you in the past, but you spout more pro-CCP garbage than any two men combined because your thinking is binary.
@RealMikeyBrown@MrChrisBits Just stop. The donors are needed to do ANYTHING of scale. You want them funneling money into NIL but NOT to have luxury seating? Get real.
@marc02200 Collateral means the transaction was actually in dollars. Everyone recognizes bitcoin as an asset. Very few recognize it as money. Bitcoin has lost its monetary mission so that bags could get pumped and even that is not working so well lately. It was a choice, and a poor one.
@scottmelker "Likely" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. When $STRC is trading at par again, let us know and we'll measure the amount of time that investors can't get back.
@comic Premise correct, data/facts wrong. Bunch of non-bitcoin companies have bought bitcoin. It's fine to have volatile, speculative assets as a small part of a growth strategy portfolio. Would I have the entire corporate treasury in bitcoin? Heck no.
The real tell is that they manufactured just barely enough votes to knock Pratt out of second. It indicates that there was a vote target that they knew in advance after Pratt's "late votes" stopped coming in. The rate of Raman's vote surge leveled off once Pratt was out, ensuring there was going to be no change of policy in LA no matter who "won."
