It’s a miserable existence to constantly care about how you’re being perceived and/or how you should perceive others.

Instead:

- Remind yourself that your identity is in Christ.

- Be faithful to the gospel by loving God and neighbor.

- Keep your focus on the people and tasks God has put in front of you.

- Be at peace with others as far as it depends on you.

Rinse. Repeat.

Here is how my redneck brain classifies views of the atonement.

Unlimited = Birdshot (scatter wide and hope for the best, but not effective on humans really)

HU = Buckshot (same principle as birdshot, but does effect some humans within range)

Definite = Slug (concentrated and powerful, 100% effective at its intended purpose for humans in the line of fire)
