Madam Ambassador, according to the Bible, Palestinians are Semites, as the term ‘Semite’ refers to the descendants of Shem and their language.
Therefore, it is antisemitic to kill boys and girls by dropping bombs on Gaza and to not oppose it. The most antisemitic act today is repeating Hitler's Holocaust against humanity, particularly the Palestinian people.
I am not antisemitic; do not be confused, and show some respect. I am not anti-Jewish, I believe in freedom of worship, and had I lived during that time, I would have given my life in armed resistance against the Nazis. However, I believe in the freedom that international law upholds – law that was established in the wake of Hitler’s defeat by the Americans, Soviets, and all the peoples of the world: humanity.
Mr Netanyahu and his government, fugitives from international justice, do not represent Semitism – they embody Nazism.
It's been nearly 5 months since US/Israel started the war on Iran. As a result of the attacks, the Arabian Gulf countries are having to pay the price. We are being crippled off of our infrastructure and resources while the US/Israel remain unaffected.
The genocide and atrocities in Gaza are unconscionable. In Congress, I will not support sending another cent to Israel, offensive or defensive. In Washington, I will fight to fund healthcare and childcare, not wars and bombs. #NY7Debate
🚨BREAKING: House Democrats just passed a War Powers Resolution to end Trump’s war in Iran.
His illegal war has caused gas prices to skyrocket and put service members at risk.
This is a win for the American people.
I tell @AJEnglish that in response to Iran’s attacks on civilians at Kuwait airport today, Iran is approaching Kuwait (and the smaller Gulf states, Bahrain) with a distinctly predatory logic by applying aggressive economic warfare and targeted attacks. Iran said it supposedly attacked UAE harsher due to its relations with Israel. Well Kuwait has no relations but since the ceasefire was Iran’s number one destination for attacks. What is the messaging behind this approach?
Gulf states were damned with indiscriminate attacks within minutes of the start of the war when they told the U.S. not to use their territory. So if they are damned to have indiscriminate attacks with or without the U.S., why would they go solo at the face of Iranian aggression? Iran created this incentive structure.
Three Iranian attacks on Kuwait in a week even when none of the three US attacks on Iran came from #Kuwait. Iran is reeling from Kuwait’s capture of four IRGC operatives infiltrating Kuwaiti lands last month and using US attacks as an alibi. Negotiations, not attacks, land results.
In a shameful display of complicity, top New York politicians including Mark Levine, Kathy Hochul, Tom DiNapoli, and Dan Goldman marched alongside right-wing extremists in yesterday's Israel Day Parade. They proudly declared their Zionism in the presence of the architects of Israeli genocide, officials who have planned, implemented, and bragged about atrocious war crimes including the murder of children and the use of mass starvation as a weapon of war.

Subject:
Support for the International Draft Resolution on Protecting Freedom of International Navigation and Reopening the Strait of Hormuz under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter
Excellencies,
The Association Ma’onah for Human Rights and Immigration (AMHRI), as a non-governmental organization holding Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), and on behalf of the International Civil Coalition for the Implementation of International Legitimacy Resolutions, which includes more than 450 non-governmental organizations worldwide, expresses its full support and explicit endorsement of the draft resolution submitted to the United Nations Security Council concerning the protection of freedom of international navigation and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.
This draft resolution constitutes a necessary international legal response to the Iranian threats and attacks targeting the Gulf States, Jordan, and Azerbaijan, and the resulting grave violations of international law, direct threats to international peace and security, freedom of navigation, and global energy security.
AMHRI and the Coalition affirm that any disruption or threat to international maritime routes, particularly the Strait of Hormuz, constitutes a clear violation of the United Nations Charter and the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), and threatens global economic and humanitarian stability.

Today marks Nakba Day, an annual day of remembrance to commemorate the expulsion of more than 700,000 Palestinians between 1947 and 1949 during the creation of the State of Israel and the year that followed.
Inea is a New Yorker and a Nakba survivor. She shared her story with us — one of home, tradition and memory over generations.
The Nakba never ended. The Israeli apartheid regime is still committing genocide in Gaza and violently erasing entire communities across Palestine and Lebanon. I'm leading a resolution to recognize the 78th anniversary of Nakba and reaffirm Palestinian refugees' right of return.
At a press conference Tuesday morning, a reporter asked Mayor Zohran Mamdani what he would speak with King Charles III about during his visit to the city, given the chance.
Mamdani said he'd ask the king to return the Koh-i-Noor diamond to India.
The 105.6-carat diamond is currently the centerpiece of the crown made for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth, the queen mother, in 1937.
The jewel was taken from India under British rule in the 1840s - and countries including India, Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan have all since claimed ownership.
Happy National Arab American Heritage Month, New York!
From Bay Ridge and Astoria to Rochester and Buffalo, New York’s Arab American communities are rich in their expression of music, food, history and art.
Proud to celebrate the achievements and resiliency of all Arab Americans.
UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem Al Hashimy on Iran’s attacks on the country: “It’s very clear that they’ve chosen to go down this path because we are everything that they’re not.”
“Whereas we tried to become and have become an international, global responsible player, they are a pariah state, and they wanted to break that model – but they underestimated our resolve.”
