One thing about rotary phones is if you try using one nowadays (I tested one some years ago), it takes a bit of time to dial the number cos phone numbers are longer now.

@Jo_Caulfield I'm 41, have done all except 9 and 11. Though using a rotary phone, I tested one a while ago but I don't know if I ever used one properly to make a call to someone. Didn't grow up with one in the house and payphones had upgraded to push button phones by the time I got to use one.

I'm looking through old issues of @empiremagazine and noticed this. The Pianist only got a 2 star review from Ian Freer in 2003, but gets a 4 star review on the website, under Ian Freer's name and still with the same negative review summary. When was the website review written?
