Last week, I met the Tata Motors Regional Head at Wasan Motors, hoping for a fair and respectful resolution.
Instead, I witnessed something shocking — a coordinated effort to cover up the truth and pressure me into accepting a vehicle I had already legally objected to.
Here’s what happened:
- The Regional Head repeated the same words used by Wasan Motors — showing zero impartiality or concern for the customer.
- Despite written communication instructing them to stop the repair, they went ahead and repaired the car under my insurance without my final consent.
- To manipulate me, they placed the repaired car in the center of the showroom, decorated with ribbons — as if trying to emotionally force me to accept it.
- The original repair estimate was ₹8.3 lakhs. Now, suddenly, it’s claimed the job was done for ₹2.5 lakhs.
That’s a massive red flag about the quality of repairs and possible insurance misrepresentation.
This is not just negligence. It’s manipulation. It’s unethical.
And it’s supported — if not orchestrated — by @TataMotors

Here's how @TataMotors_Cars & #wasanmotors mishandled everything after an accident and how the conversation with #wasanmotors unfolded after they crashed my car.

Mar 3: I left my car for regular service at #wasanmotors. Kandivali West. (Tata Authorized)
Mar 6 (Evening): I found out that my car had met with an accident during their enjoy ride.
They never told me. I had to call them to learn a lie that the steering locked and it hit a divider.
Mar 7: We visited #wasanmotors . The arrogant Service Manager #KishanJamble admitted it as a minor accident caused due to steering lock!
Despite the airbags were deployed and engine was broken! Justified it as a small hit on the impact sensor can deploy airbags.
It being a serious accidental car! We denied to accept the car seeing the damage! Asking for a compensation!
He deliberately denied stating its not in their policy.
But taking the car for personal use! over speeding! it above 65kmph in a 40-Zone and crashing the car was!
Forced me to use my insurance to repair! And accept the accidental car! Giving me standard parts warranty and no compensation! he sounded like he is doing a favor to me – I denied!
Second option was they would sell the car to their valuator and pay me peanuts – I denied!
Lastly, having no fear about the law! He threatened me saying go legal nothing would happen! law would be in our favor. And the car will rot as it is! This is not our first case!!!
Hearing this we left! thinking we had lost everything and cannot fight against these big giants!
(#wasanmotors claimed that Panchanama was done and 3 passengers were in the car and no one was injured) – follow the story to know the truth!
Mar 8: Having some hope! I called @TataMotors_Cars customer care. They agreed it's #wasanmotors fault.
But later, connected me to #wasanmotors Service Head #TrusharShah he repeated the same story:
“Claim insurance, we’ll sell the car & give you the money.”
But that value would be low. I had just bought the car for ₹8.8L.! 6 months back! Why should I take a loss of 3 - 4 lakhs for your mistake? No answer!
Mar 9: Lost all my hopes and felt defeated!! I submitted the insurance documents! Asking to keep complete transparency in the process!
Mar 13: Sent a detailed mail to @TataMotors_Cars explaining the entire situation! Thought this would get escalated! Instead received an automated response!
Mar 14 - 17: Having received No response from #wasanmotors !! I mailed and called #KishanJamble to ask for #PanchanamaReport and list of documents submitted to Insurance Company and the diagnosis report
Shockingly they hadn’t done any #Panchanama! No written document/proof of the accident!
I rushed to the neared RTO to find out more about the accident! There I found that they denied to do a FIR stating it as their personal matter! Also got to know that the driver was seriously injured!
Mar 20: After continuous mails and calls #KishanJamble took the efforts to send me the Claim form and Estimate! and an email stating driver misjudgment as the reason! Reducing the speed to 50 – 60 kmph
The repair estimate was of whooping 8.3lakhs! replacing the Bare Engine Assy as well!!!
The accident reason on the claim form did not had #wasanmotors name on it!
All these days I was kept in dark about the situation no transparency, no communication, no replies to my email nothing!
Mar 25: After many efforts I was able to connect #PankajTilve a so-called @TataMotors_Cars Service Center Care Employee!
Not to my surprise he spitted the same words as #wasanmotors ! the reason of the accident changed to drivers negligence! I was shattered after hearing this! The Service center lied to me since day one!
His #wasanmotors centric personal advice was “If I got to any advocate or the court they would say If the service center is repairing the car there would be no case!”
I asked him to give this explanation in writing! Which he agreed and disappeared!
Considering the delay in response! Continuously asking me to not inform the Insurance company about the actual cause of accident and a ton of lies I asked them to stop any work on my car! As things were unethical and would have invited legal liabilities on me in the future!

Has Tata Motors Forgotten Its Own Core Values?
I’m deeply disappointed not just as a customer—but as someone who genuinely believed in the Tata brand and its commitment to ethics and service.
But after experiencing the negligence, dishonesty, and manipulation from @TataMotors_Cars authorized service center #WasanMotors,
I am forced to ask:
Have the Tata Group's 5 Core Values become just words on paper?
1. Integrity – “We must conduct our business fairly, with honesty and transparency.”
Was there honesty when:
-My car was crashed during a test drive and I wasn’t informed?
-Different lies were told about the cause of the accident?
-The reason of accident was hidden from the insurance company?
2. Responsibility – “We must take responsibility for our actions...”
-Why am I, a customer, being made to suffer mentally, emotionally and financially for a mistake committed by your service center?
3. Excellence – “We must constantly strive to achieve the highest standards…”
Is excellence reflected in:
-Forcing a customer to use their insurance? Forcing me to accept an accidental car!
-Sending automated, templated replies to a serious complaint?
-Taking no action weeks after escalation?
4. Pioneering – “We will be bold and agile, courageously taking on challenges…”
-If Tata Motors prides itself on being pioneering, why does it take a social media storm for anyone to even respond to a customer fighting alone?
5. Unity – “We must work cohesively, respecting every stakeholder…”
-I was treated not like a stakeholder, but like a liability.
-Instead of helping me, Tata Motors and Wasan Motors sent identical copy-paste emails backing each other. Is that unity—or collusion?
This isn't just about a car. It’s about a brand I believed in—and how that belief has been shaken.
Tata Motors, it’s time to reflect.
Your name carries trust. Please don’t let customers like me pay the price for someone else’s carelessness.

As of my last post, I clearly instructed #wasanmotors to stop all work on my car and informed them I’ll be taking appropriate action against their negligence and misconduct.
Soon after, I received a mail from #KishanJambli (Service Manager) asking me to come meet #TrusharShah (Service Head) in person. Calls started coming in again.
Over the call, #KishanJambli now says:
“You had agreed to repair and let us call a valuator. Why are you creating a scene now? Come meet us, we’ll talk to our senior!”
Scene? Let me remind him who created the Scene:
❌ The same person who pressured me and forced me to agree his terms and arrogantly refused written communication!
❌ This is the same man who told me:
“Go legal!, nothing will happen, the car will rot.”
❌ The same person who lied about the accident cause — first “steering lock,” then “driver misjudgment.” And many more lies!!!
How can I trust a service center that has already broken my trust multiple times?
📢 My stand is simple:
→ Compensate me for my car’s full value — ₹8.8 lakhs.
→ Take ownership of the car since 03/03/2025 as that was in your custody
I’m a responsible citizen. I don’t want to face legal consequences tomorrow for something #WasanMotors did. But I also won’t stay silent anymore.

I’m a middle-class working individual — suffering for a mistake I never made.
