I think when you’re overstimulated you should appear kind of grayed out and no one should be able to interact with you like a locked character in a video game
let him.
if he takes forever to respond, let him. if he never makes an effort to see you, let him. if he keeps you hidden or avoids making plans with you, let him. stop trying to convince someone to give you the attention and affection they should willingly want to give. you shouldn’t have to chase, beg, or repeatedly explain why you deserve basic consideration. pay attention to what someone consistently does, not just what they promise when they feel you pulling away. give him the space to show you what his intentions really are without constantly trying to influence the outcome. and if his actions reveal that you’re not a priority, believe what you’re seeing. the right person won’t leave you endlessly guessing about where you stand. they will make an effort to show you that you matter. so let him make his choices, and give yourself the freedom to make yours.
@deji2903 Especially when one of the biggest problems is actually getting yourself to leave the house in the first place, they make it sound like going for a walk is the easiest thing in the world which is isn't when you're severely depressed
