Building BI meant centralizing data. Building AI means preserving the authority of distributed systems. Why the warehouse model breaks down for AI agents - and what replaces it 👇
Would love to hear from anyone wrestling with the same transition. https://t.co/GiIAfdZJtY
Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.
We’re outraged that AI “hallucinates.” But that’s the wrong word. The right word is confabulate — filling gaps with plausible fiction, presented as fact. No intent to deceive.
The most sophisticated confabulation machine ever built is reading this right now 🤣🤣🤣
Every few weeks someone says:
“Isn’t every AI product just a light wrapper around ChatGPT?”
Sure.
AWS is just a light wrapper around some computers.
A restaurant is just a light wrapper around ingredients.
If you zoom out far enough, everything is “just a wrapper.”
🚀 Day 2 of #DeveloperWeek is HERE!
Come find us at Booth 436 — The #MarcoPolo team is ready to demo, connect, and geek out with you. And the best part? You can try MarcoPolo for free — right then and there. No commitment, no friction.

How to build a chai maker:
Data scientist: Analyze 3 years of chai consumption patterns, build a model to predict optimal ginger ratios, present 47 slides, never actually make chai ☕📊
I'm Boris and I created Claude Code. Lots of people have asked how I use Claude Code, so I wanted to show off my setup a bit.
My setup might be surprisingly vanilla! Claude Code works great out of the box, so I personally don't customize it much. There is no one correct way to use Claude Code: we intentionally build it in a way that you can use it, customize it, and hack it however you like. Each person on the Claude Code team uses it very differently.
So, here goes.
"I don’t believe in hierarchical relationships. I don’t want to be above anybody, and I don’t want to be below anybody. If I can’t treat someone like a peer and if they can’t treat me like peer, I just don’t want to interact with them."

The only ones not to be disrupted by AI.
I’ve been thinking about this quite a bit, and I think the following professions will not be displaced by AI; every other profession will be impacted to displaced:
-Trades*
-Leaders
-Teachers
-Politicians
-Entrepreneurs
-Performance arts
-High-touch healthcare
-High-end personal services**
-Event / community organizers
-Craftsmen and innovative artists
-Cutting-edge inventors, scientists
Version 1.0: I will certainly update this in future.
