@Mailrebel2 @Supernerd471 Maybe it's excessive but at least I knew I would be playing this game for awhile after hearing people were putting in 200 hours. Square went all out with their best game, going for a massive immersive world which I find admirable. I work hard, I want to play hard too lol.

@Mailrebel2 @Supernerd471 I can somewhat agree with the walking simulators, they can take out some of the crawling and squeezing thru areas. Boss fights are great and well balanced to me on top of the great battle system it has. Only dungeon that is long is the last one. Everything else is 2 hours or less

@Mailrebel2 @Supernerd471 That's the problem, you shouldn't compare it to the original as I already stated. Yeah it's based on the original but it's an entirely different game at the same time.

@Mailrebel2 @Supernerd471 Not saying that at all. They talk about it at about 49 minutes in. Pacing should not be compared to the original because the remakes have a much expanded story and are just a different game. The average playthrough can be finished in 45-50 hours if you want to get it over with.

@Mailrebel2 @Supernerd471 It's a huge game, if anyone gets into it then they should do the research and be aware of that. These guys grade it to the highest level when it comes to pacing. Always know what you're getting into, at least somewhat.

@Alex_Veyuna @LuLuTheGoth Yeah for sure. All part of their marketing strategy. XIV is coming out on Switch 2 soon too then Resonance, another new one that will be multi platform. Reminds me of back then when they had different games on game boy and game cube.

@RapierThiago @Supernerd471 Length of game really shouldn't be compared anymore with the original because of the changes. We asked for a remake and they said ok fine we will give it to you but it will be a MASSIVE game. Lol.

I think Hamaguchi just recently came out in an interview and said that Revelation may be the same size or bigger than Rebirth also.

Rebirth alone is nearly twice the size of Elden Ring even with all of it's DLC.

You can take out a lot of this "padding" on Rebirth sure but it will still be a huge game. Can't fix stupid I guess
