The problem is often our definition of “hearing God.” Scripture doesn’t command believers to hear an audible word before every decision. It calls us to acknowledge God in all our ways. Those are not the same thing.

The life of every believer is supposed to be directed by God in every step, but that's not common because people do not strive to hear God or obey him anymore and we have made it seem as if that's the norm when it's not.

The norm for every believer is hearing God on every thing and in every matter, and it doesn't matter if it's not common, it doesn't take away the fact that that's the way we should live

Sometimes I find myself asking God to save me from shallow faith because it is truly possible to go through the motions of Christianity and know nothing of the Lord’s presence. Where you do just enough to be acceptable to a Christian community and to ease your conscience, but the substance of the life of Christ is nowhere to be found in your life.

As we start a new week, I want to urge everyone to **Own The Outcome**

AI makes it easy to generate anything these days - from strategy memos to PRDs, even posts and messages. I'm absolutely supportive of using it. I encourage you to - get the leverage!

But "my AI wrote that" is not an excuse for inaccuracy or quality. AI is a tool, not a scapegoat.

If you're not proud of the output, don't share it.

Read everything. Review everything. Make sure whatever you put out into the world is a representation of YOU. Whether AI helped you make it is almost irrelevant at this point - it's totally fine that it did (in fact, I assume it did).

But you own the outcome.

If you have faithful, godly friends, please ensure they aren't afraid to warn you when you err.

Do everything within your power to encourage their free expression.

Reply to their texts, ask their opinion, and don't make them feel ashamed for asking for your help.

There are very few things that can substitute for faithful friends.
You're so blessed if you can afford such a luxury.

@Opeyemilawall @oadefisayo Rather than dismissing those concerns, I’d rather pray that God gives all of us, especially those who teach, the humility and grace to carefully consider sincere feedback and make clarifications where necessary. That isn’t an attack on their ministry.

@Opeyemilawall @oadefisayo natural that the way things are communicated matters. Even if a preacher doesn’t intend to communicate a particular idea, if their words can reasonably be misunderstood by those listening, it’s worth paying attention to.
