I'm seeing on the TL comments like UEFA would pull of FIFA.

I wonder where that came from. Certainly not from UEFA. You know why? Because UEFA cannot pull out of FIFA.

The FIFA Statutes only recognize member associations (national FAs) as the actual "members" of FIFA and not confederations.

Article 18 of the FIFA statutes sets out how a member association can quit the body by providing six months' notice before the end of the calendar year. That mechanism applies to national associations and not to confederations like UEFA itself.

UEFA is a Confederation and its relationship to FIFA is different. A confederation is a group of associations recognised by FIFA that belong to the same continent, and must comply with FIFA's statutes and regulations to operate under its umbrella.

So yes, UEFA maybe a big, strong and powerful Confederation, but it isn't a "member" of FIFA with a resignation clause the way an FA is.
So the practical version of a UEFA "boycott" or "secession" or "Pull Out" from FIFA would actually require 55 separate national federations each individually resigning under Article 18 of FIFA statues. Good luck to UEFA pulling that off.

In reality, UEFA's threats are structurally weaker than they sound, it posturing right now IMO is just a negotiating position.
