This May’s misery is officially one for the record books, Seattle.
With 3.79” of rain, this is now our wettest May in 74 years—and the second-wettest May on record.
The good news? The month ends on Tuesday!
@MariahCarey@DustinLBarnes would be losing his mind right now, shrieking for joy. One of my fondest memories with him was singing some of your Christmas album at the top of our lungs in the college newsroom. Thank you for this kind gesture. 💙
I searched EVERYWHERE when I had my son trying to find an early vaccine. I flew 2,000 miles to get it! Once vaccinated, I continued pumping to give my child as many antibodies as I could.
And yet 84% babies are born to unvaccinated mothers?! I don’t get it. Get vaccinated.
New CDC study confirms babies whose mothers got vaccinated w/ 2 shots of #moderna or #Pfizer offer protection against COVID.
A 61% lower risk of a baby being hospitalized w/ COVID for the 1st 6 months of life.
And 84% of babies hospitalized were born to #unvaccinated mothers.
Only 25% of the US is vaccinated AND boosted. 🤯 Why, y’all?! It is SO easy to get your booster. Go do it! It gives you a 90% chance of staying out of the hospital. This is a no brainer.
The latest studies released by #CDC are very reassuring. If you’re #fullyvaccinated & #boosted, the effectiveness of your vaccine is 90% in preventing hospitalization! If you only had 2 shots of the #mrna vaccine, it goes down to 57%. @AnaCabrera
"You can be very proud, Memphis," Richard C. Shadyac Jr. with @StJude writes after nearly 17,000 people took to the city streets for the 20th anniversary of the Memphis Marathon fundraiser.
"What a profoundly gratifying day."

@Delta @ELIZABE14165509 This makes me so happy to see the wings are alive and well. Our child has his first flight with Delta this month! Looking forward to many more to come.
@AskTSA I’ll be traveling with a baby next month. Am I required to take him out of a wearable carrier? I’ve read your site and it seems like no, but I’ve watched agents require moms to take their kids out before walking through the scanners.
