@Milajoy “I don’t understand how ballots are counted, so call a lawyer” is not the flex you think it is.
The easy ballots get counted first. The rest require verification, signature checks, provisional review, and legal deadlines.
That’s not fraud. That’s elections.
@thelastcheli I don’t want to ruin the celebration, but about 40% of the vote still hasn’t been counted, and the remaining ballots are expected to be significantly more Democratic.
@WestSeaSpirit So democracy is only valid when your guy has no competition? Chad Bianco didn’t “rob” votes ,voters chose who they wanted. By that same logic, Katie Porter and every other Democrat in the race “robbed” Tom Steyer. That’s not how elections work. Sit down.
@BuzzPatterson@ChadBianco Apparently “do the right thing” only applies to Republicans. The other 23 Democrats splitting the vote were just expressing themselves.
@SteveHiltonx Offer him a role”? Dude, relax. You’re leading a primary field full of Democratic candidates. Winning a primary and winning in November are two very different things. At this point, your general election odds are somewhere between slim and none.
@realJoelFischer So you’re saying the candidate with fewer votes should sometimes win? That’s a strange definition of democracy. You guys have completely lost your mind.
@mdawg7070@realJoelFischer You can choose ignorance or facts. Ballots aren’t just tossed into a pile and counted. They’re verified before they’re added to the tally, which is exactly why California takes time to finish counting votes.
@IAmTita46518800@TheRoyalSerf Nobody is ignoring rural voters. Their votes count exactly the same as everyone else’s. The map is just a reminder that acres don’t cast ballots.
