Some exciting progress on the narrow gauge railway diorama today!
Track soldered and glued down ✅

street marked out ✅
still a lot to do, but it’s finally moving along at a steady pace!
Took one of those cheap and crude cable car unpowered models and turned it into a coach. It is a little big compared to the rest of the stock, but still plausible.
@SFCCM Al Schwoerer’s photo caption and original description on FB reference the Park & Ocean railway’s terminus at La Playa rather the the Cliff House station up on 48th and Point Lobos.
Currently building an 1890-1910 era urban scenery diorama. This is heavily inspired by San Francisco and surrounding bay area cities.
Scratchbuilt a utility pole and am currently painting up some buildings.
