Almost all neurons co-release peptides and small transmitters. Thrilled to share our latest research where new GRAB sensor promotes better understanding of the dynamics and molecular regulation between neuropeptide and neurotransmitter release in vivo. https://t.co/P7XPjjP46y
Happy to share the first work from my PhD. 🔬 We show that GPCR-based norepinephrine and dopamine sensors can display crosstalk in acute brain slices and in vivo.⚡️ We hope this study will be helpful for those using these sensors and for interpreting results. 🐁
If you or anyone you know needs help preparing for grad school interviews, please reach out! I love helping people through this process. It’s ok if I don’t know you, let’s connect and please share this post if you can! #gradschool
📢 Prospective PiN applicants. Announcing our fall virtual open house series! We join @HarvardHILS on Tue, Oct 3 & Nov 1 for sessions on SoP, LoR, interviews & take a deeper dive into all aspects of PiN on Tue, Oct 17. See you there! Deets/registration: https://t.co/RM4MId9Ub8
I’m SO happy to share that I will be pursuing my PhD in Neuroscience at Harvard!! @PiN_Harvard
I am forever thankful for my amazing research mentors @BYU & @UUtah, including Jeff Edwards, @JordanYorgason, & @peter_j_west. This would not have been possible without them!
